Why spa at home?
Granted that we all have periods of stress at some time, and that some me-time is useful (see my last blog), the next question that I want to address is: Why Spa at Home? Wouldn't it be easier (and more effective?!) to go to a "proper" spa and get pampered there?
http://www.spabreak.co.uk
and looked at spas in the North East of England, which is where I'm based.
A couple of things occurred to me:
- the nearest spa is at least a 40 minute drive away
- there seems to be an expectation that you will spend at least half a day at the spa
- prices start at £65
- everyone in the pictures looks beautiful!
- Who would look after the children, if you have them?
- What about work, especially if you run your own business?
- Can YOU afford the time and money to do this?
- Do you want a load of strangers to see you sitting around in a robe - or worse still - a swimsuit?!

Stressed?
Stressed?
We all know how the stress and strains of daily life can build up...
And yet, if you ARE a busy mum, worker, dad, whatever, how can you get the time (or the money!) to escape from home to a spa to have all those treatments that you know would help you to unwind, even if just for a little while?
I asked a question of my friends on Facebook - what do you need to know about right now, and the answer was Spa Treatments at Home...
Over the next few weeks I am going to work on thinking about how you can take a small amount of time out of your day - maybe ask your partner to watch the children, or wait until you can take some me-time in the evening - to really pamper yourself...
So, what kinds of treatments would you choose, if money was no object, at one of those posh spas? We'll look at how very many of those we can create at home and I hope, together we can create our own piece of peace and help stimulate, strengthen and support health and beauty from the inside out...

NutriMinC RE9 REfresh Foaming Body Wash
Now the summer weather is here, we need to show off bits of the body we kept covered up all winter and there's nothing better for helping us to do that than the RE9 Bodycare range. These use the same anti-ageing ingredients as the RE9 skincare, including nanospheres infused with antioxidants and vitamins which ensure that these benficial ingredients are delivered to the skin surface where they are needed most.
I love the Foaming Body Wash, which has that refreshing RE9 citrus smell, is so rich and creamy on the skin, leaves my skin feeling so soft, and comes with its own orange wash puff too! Use it in the bath or shower and then treat your skin to the benefits of the RE9 Body Care System - see a future post soon!
200ml: £20.
